Do you see what I just did?

You cannot imagine how many times I've contemplated doing it. I weighed the pros and cons and every time I eventually accepted that the wisest thing to do for the long run was to leave that mess of hair and try to persevere with the barrettes.

I am just deciding now that I will not regret it, no matter what. What's done is done and there ain't no goin' back.

It's been an entire 10 minutes and already she looks years older to me.

Tonight at church, someone told her how sorry they were that she had to go through the chicken pox. I was so embarassed. They aren't chicken pox. They're mosquito bites that she won't stop scratching. She's now covered in scabby spots and she does look like she's had the chicken pox!
